An MP3 QR code opens an audio page hosted by QR Code AI. Upload your audio, add a title and artist name, choose an optional cover image and set whether the player offers downloading. The QR contains the managed address of the page, not the sound data. A listener opens the page in a compatible browser and uses its playback controls.
For example, an author could place a code for a narrated chapter sample on a book insert, or a museum could share an exhibit recording beside its description. Scanning opens the hosted audio page on a compatible device with connectivity. The listener may need to press play: a scan does not guarantee automatic playback. For example, Chrome’s autoplay policy can require a user interaction before sound starts. Test the audio in the browsers your audience uses.
You can create QR codes within the free creation limits. A seven-day trial starts with the first QR code or Smart Link created in your personal account or Workspace; the two have separate allowances and trials. After the trial, Premium is needed to keep connected destinations and their paid features active. Direct QR types, such as plain text or WiFi, retain their encoded data independently of the redirect service. Reaching a creation limit prevents additional creation; it does not erase the data in an already printed direct QR code.
